MAJESTy
is an acronym for the Master of Arts Program for Journalist Education
in Science and Technology. This is an accredited Master of Arts program
focused on training journalists who specialize in science and technology.
The central meaning of the word majesty is "the
dignity of a sovereign," or "stateliness." This choice of acronym reflects
our goal of developing journalists who can demonstrate a sense of professional
dignity, insight into the future, and respect toward science and technology.
Since MAJESTy is affiliated with the Graduate School of Political Science,
students who have successfully completed the two-year program will receive
the degree of Master of Arts in Political Science.
